When the shy and buttoned-up Georgina Byrd (Queen Latifah) is diagnoised with a terminal illness, she decides it's time to fulfill the dreams she's carefully scrapbooked all her life. She realizes that this is the very last call to do all the things she's longed to experience and packs her bag for the adventure of her lifetime.

Her passion for cooking leads her to Europe's Grandhotel Pupp where the famed Chef Didier resides, who she quickly befriends. Instead of saying "No thank you. Not now. Maybe later" she says "Yes - this is what I want and I'm ready for it now." She radiates such passion, love, happiness, and beauty from saying Yes to the richness of life that she transforms everyone around her.

It's such a pleasure to watch Georgina treat herself well and regard her dreams with respect. She gives herself the things that cause her to truly come alive. As 2014 comes to a close and 2015 is right on the brink of coming to life it's a great time to ask ourselves "what would I do if this were my last year? How would I do things differently? What would I say Yes to? What would I say No to?"

We don't know when our time here is up. The fresh year is a beautiful time to rub the sleep out of our eyes and look around at this big, beautiful, messy, wooly world and decide how we want to live in it. And then go out and do it. A person whose living life to its fullest is the best inspiration out there. It's that shot in the arm of permission that gets people off the couch and into life. It's better than any self-help book. So, if you want to inspire someone life your own life like it really means something, like it's precious, like it's magnificent, like it will never come again, like it's your last holiday.
